Some lad called Kevin has scored for Shakhtar v Bayern. The Brazilians, as ever, creative with their names.

This ref in the Bayern game is something else. He calls off goals for literally nothing.

Pereira is going to get fired for sure. Four losses in five matches after not losing one all season so far under Amorim? He looks clueless tactically and I don't think the players respect him at all.

The issue is, they're going to have to gamble with anyone they go for due to the reputation of the Portuguese league (no elite coach will entertain the idea) and finances. I mean, even Amorim was a gamble at one stage. Didn't he only manage for 6 months at Braga before getting the Sporting job?

Thats funny because the name Kevin in Germany is associated with a specific type of person. Usually of lower intelligence and of a simple mind.

anecdotally I see Arsenal stuff around Chicago more than I see any other PL team. and when I meet someone new who is into soccer, they’re usually either an Arsenal or Tottenham fan

Interesting. Does this mean the likes of De Bruyne got grief for his name whilst in Germany?

It is nauseating reading the hand-wringing about the Saudi World Cup bid. Apparently the FA are worried that they'll be considered hypocrites if they don't endorse it but attend. Feels like there is a fairly easy way to resolve that issue.

Knowing United's luck for the last decade, there's only one way this is going to go. Arsenal unbeaten treble 2025/2026, book it.

This sounds interesting but overly complex. Lot of connotations for it.

What a letdown. Sounds like a shitty chip that's going to get in the way of using other chips.

If Spurs and Arsenal merged, they still couldn’t form a full defence lmao

Jesus cannot buy a goal right now. Should be 2-0, but for a great save and a crucial block
