Last week I was telling Mum how good it was that my brother is dating an Italian girl and we could potentially have a grandson/nephew named Luigi. It was probably going to be a hard sell anyway and now I'm worried its going to look political and I dont know how cool her family is. I spoke to a man named Qiji the other day which is like an even cuter Chinese version the name so if this relationship doesn't work out for him I can aim for that next time.

Luigi is such a wild name to be given around the time he was born. Someone said his name is what J.K. Rowling would have given to an Italian character in her books.

 

I really like it as a name, very funny to say, great syllables, Lou and Louie are classic nick names even though I wouldn't say them.
