Nicko from Iron Maiden has officially stepped down from the band!! Nicko himself and the band have released a statement

 

lol about a month ago I drove to Chicago late at night and listened to that record for the final hour of the drive

 

it's perfect for when you have 80 minutes to kill

 

it was a good change of pace after listening to the acacia strain for, I kid you not, 3 and a half hours straight

 

Been checking out other TAS albums and The Dead Walk/Wormwood go hard

 

Forgot to come back after I gave their albums a listen for the first time and I particularly had a blast with their latter sludge/doom influenced work. I even felt like I had accidentally put on Thou at times, which is extremely my shit. Some of the early albums blurred together so I'll have to revisit them as well.

 

First album in four years

 

I am new to Concrete Winds and holy shit this self titled record goes so hard.

 

Left hand Path is such a good album

 

Yeah everything from wormwood forward gets doomy and sludgy

 

Gonna be Top 20 of the year for me, and I'd love for them to tour more over here other than a one-off NYC show. It's so heavy.

HYLI - Andy's Best of 2024 (The Metal One)

Andy's AOTY list for HYLI. lots of cool stuff here I didn't know about at all.

 

I'm new to them too but I really liked what I've heard. Seeing them on a few EOTY lists. Deservedly so.

 

Concrete Winds hits that blend of ASM and Full of Hell that I didn't know I needed. It's beautiful stuff. Like I said before, I wish they'd tour over here other than a random NYC one-off they did a few years ago unless I'm misremembering.

 

Don't normally care all that much about remasters, but this one rules. Great excuse to revisit one of the best.

 

Sadness/Soulless split

hard disagree, that Kerry King album is boring as fuck. Will say I have Chat Pile and Knocked Loose on mine. I liked Gouge Away a lot as well.
