Still can't believe CEH got picked over Taylor

I get the idea behind it in concept, but c'mon

Montgomery is on par with a player like Etienne talent wise.

again, look at Bijan. He was "cant miss franchise talent" and the Falcons are still mid as hell.

The Falcons were also THEEEEEEEEEEEEEE worst situation for Bijan humanly possible. You can't conjure up a worse situation

Like Arthur Smith should be UHC'd

Ashton Jeanty could get drafted to be a screen WR and he'd be in a better situation than Bijan is in Atlanta

Yeah it’s not just ATL being bad it’s their coach directly underutilizing pick 4 overall for no logical reason lol

I'm so curious what's going to become of Quintrevion Wisner. Very thankful for Sark's ability to pull a good RB out of his ass (which also has me concerned for him and for Jonathon Brooks as actual players)

I’d also like to communicate another aspect of my desire to target Jeanty in a trade down - the thing is; there’s always gonna be an argument against taking a gifted RB high. Every team has a million reasons not to do it.

But if you want an elite playmaker at RB you have to be the team that sticks your neck out and takes that risk and swings for the fences anyway. I get that a lot of GOOD RBs can be found late, but we’re not just talking about “good”, you draft a guy like Jeanty because you believe he could lead the NFL in rushing for at least a season of his career. Most of the best RBs of all time were clearly generational talents all throughout high school and college and did get taken mad early.

If the Jags draft Jeanty it’s because they believe he can be the spark that completely reverses their downward spiral on offense and I do fully, with my whole chest, believe that. He’s not the RB that needs perfect conditions to show out. He’s the RB that is so good that it teaches your IOL how to run block better lol. And honestly what the fuck, what better time to do it than when we have nothing to lose? It literally can’t get worse than being 2-10 with a former Super Bowl winning coach and your #1 overall pick QB playing like ass and getting hurt right after he got extended lmao. why NOT be that team. It’s all upside.

If he really is that good then Trevor bounces back in an offense that can generate big plays without him and doesn’t put him in shitty situations constantly, and we’re back in the playoff conversation. If not… well, it’s year one of a new coach, expectations are decently high but not sky high.

No, but it doesn’t hurt lol. Best chance of him staying a Jaguar and being a franchise offensive weapon

    The rivalry is back on

I’d really like to get one of Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland, or Harold Fannin, probably in that order of preference

this really should be a very heavy defensive draft for IND but man would it be nice to have an actual threat at that position again

Trade down in the first, take the best of them on the board later in the first, pick up the safety or LB you passed up with the extra 3 you got for doing it

Also, all due respect to David Montgomery, but he’s about as ‘25th best RB in the league’ as they come and the difference in his production in Detroit vs Chicago is all in the OL/supporting cast/better offensive system

could not disagree more haha I think Montgomery is awesome and the OL / supporting cast in Chicago was REALLY holding him back. Watch some Lions and the eye test will show you.

I think he’d be at least a middle of the pack starter in a backfield of his own

Was watching a redraft of 2024 and I feel very confident the top-5 stays identical. Maybe Bowers or Nix over Nabers, but even the top-10 is pretty locked in

ROY Jayden Daniels should probably go #1 in a redraft if we have the benefit of hindsight

    Brock Bowers is ROY
