    Seen then 16 times…

Maybe my favorite opening to a concert ever, house lights were still on and they just started into Somewhat Damaged while the crew was still on stage. I remember sprinting back to our seats from the beer line.

I kind of miss the chaotic playing of Aaron, I remember being shocked a member of The Icarus Line was joining NIN at the time. Robin is still the most iconic NIN guitarist but Aaron was truly wild.

I've only seen them once, on their "farewell" tour in 2009. Honestly, it's still probably the best show I've ever seen, so I would love to see them again.

Highly suggest anyone who didn’t follow the Year Zero ARG to take a look into it, it was probably the best album roll out I’ve ever seen.

I remember being so pumped when people were finding USBs with tracks in the bathrooms at venues.

The culmination being the Resistance meeting fans got to goto for solving all the clues. However, staging a concert now and having a fake military storm the building with fake gunfire would NEVERRRRRR happen now.

saw them in ‘09 on the NINJA tour when I was a junior in high school. I want to see them again as an adult so bad and I am gonna do everything in my power to make it happen whenever they announce some shows.

this was the setlist for the show I saw:

Saw them on the Lights in the Sky Tour, which remains the best show I've ever been to, and then the Tension tour. If you get the chance to get tickets, just do it.

Holy shit. I’d go insane if they played The Becoming and The Fragile. Those are like top ten NIN songs for me.

I’m jealous of anyone that got to attend that tour. Great NIN setlist, OG Jane’s lineup. Seemed like a blast

I’ve been able to see them three times. Twice in 2017 and once in 2022.

When I got into them, Trent was still on hiatus and it felt like I’d never get to see them. When they did the Tension 2013 tour, I tried to go to the LA show but couldn’t make it work. Then in summer 2014 I begged my parents to get me tickets to the co-headliner with Soundgarden for my birthday, but neither of them delivered…

When they got announced for FYF 2017 I got a single day pass immediately. Then that week they announced a warmup show in Bakersfield and I decided I couldn’t wait to see them. So I scored a ticket and made the drive to Bakersfield. Incredible show. It was such a fulfilling moment for me since I was a huge fan for 6 years at that point. Then FYF ruled too.

Last show was Primavera LA. Incredible set for only being 1 hr 15 min. Somewhat Damaged and The Perfect Drug were highlights.

I hope they tour next year. Festival sets are cool, but I’d love just a regular headline set from them

yeah I am honestly jealous of my younger self because, even though I was a big fan then, I would undoubtedly appreciate the setlist infinitely more now. I was a huge Fragile stan at that point and I think at the time I was mildly disappointed in the setlist bc it had so few tracks from that record. but I am more of a TDS truther now and seeing The Becoming and I Do Not Want This nowadays would have me flipping out. also feel pretty lucky in hindsight getting to see two of my favorites from The Slip, as that record doesn’t seem to get much love in their setlists post-hiatus. Home was also a pretty cool and special opener imo, especially given the fact that it was something of a “home town” show for Trent and a bunch of his family was in attendance.

was this the post gazette pavilion show? I was at that too, Street Sweeper Social Club was a great opener too. I was surprised Jane’s played last but they were also great.

This is a top three band I like the most that I haven't seen live yet. Really kicking myself for not making it a priority to go to the Philly show a few years ago. Definitely hoping there's a tour (or that the festival would be in the northeast, but I probably just want a regular tour).

I only got to see NIN live twice, first time in London just before With Teeth was released and second time in Birmingham a year or so after the album was out so I'll post what the set list for both shows were like below

The 5 times I saw them. The short set(14 songs) got cut at a festival due to rain but Reptile in the rain was a top 5 moment for me to see live

There are certain "woulda coulda shoulda" bands who stick out in my mind as being deserving of a being a way bigger deal and The Icarus Line is very high on that list. I'm glad Aaron got a chance to fly his freak flag in support of a huge band for a little while there.

Saw them at night one at Red Rocks in 2018. First song of the encore was the live debut of The Perfect Drug and no one could believe it. Illian Rubin is a beast for pulling that drum part off live

iirc, wasn't there a fan effort for that tour where a bunch of people put together a concert film in secret after an official label-backed film was cancelled at the last minute?

if you go back and look at what acts are doing now, in regard to lighting production…almost all of it stems from NIN’s arena shows in the 2000s.
