The Acacia Strain fest lost four big bands this weekend due to various issues. Def sucks

 

Just got a press release from PTV publicist and they list the following shows as sold out besides the 2 shows at Kia Forum: Philly, NYC, Michigan, Nashville, Minneapolis, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Albuquerque, Red Rocks, Seattle, Concord, Las Vegas.

That tour is doing numbers

 

we lost another one folks, a lot of members saying they would need a lot of help to sell out these places….

 

Wondering why they opted for the Skyline Stage at the Mann in Philly rather than the bigger portion of the venue

 

The tour is selling well in the UK but Wembley Arena I think will be first show of the UK tour to sell out the way things going

 

Linkin park added a show in Germany and 2nd shows in Boston and Montreal

 

PTV selling out these venues is wild. Band is far bigger than they’ve ever been and a lot of these shed tours don’t sell well at all. PTV outdrawing a Linkin Park Reunion was not on my books for 2024 lol

haha i kinda forgot that was my name on here, i stand by it.

 

I really wish presales were transparent about tickets - more shady nonsense from TM.

I bought my PTV tickets (seats) for 92 pounds because the GA was showing as unavailable (assuming sold out). Low and behold, in the general sale, there's plenty of GA for 60 pounds.

Just seems like more lies / confusion to shift the sale to a a higher ticket. I wish it had said something like 'Allotted presale GA tickets sold out. Further GA tickets on sale in general sale Friday'.

Now I'm annoyed I spent more on tickets that I don't want. I may buy 2 GA and try to sell since the section I got is sold out but man, always a frustrating experience for any show other than a club.

 

They’re also selling $500 Platinum seats at MSG when the tour they opened in stadiums last year wasn’t even that expensive.

 

Never purchased UK tickets but it seemed to have been a better experience, but the making it look sold out is annoying.

Either way, I did get pit tickets in Glasgow for $155 total for 2, and I am working to sell the 2 seats I got for $250 total. It's capped at reselling at face value too which is nice to see.

The Atlanta date is sold out except lawn, and has stupid secondary ticket prices now (like $400 for pit)

So UK folks, maybe you have it better? What are you doing different? :)
