Being in the middle of the US in general is just a no thanks to me weather wise. Doesn’t matter what the climate is “normally” like, you will get thrown extreme curveballs because of how the humid continental winds operate. In Nebraska some summer days are 115 degrees and some winter days are 30 below lol. Miss me with that fuckshit

I mostly grew up in FL and briefly also lived in Cali, Louisiana, and Texas as a toddler and Hawaii as an 8-10 year old haha. All warm places.

I moved to Maryland at 15 and went to college here, but it’s been a very long process acclimating to even Baltimore’s mild winter. I used to hate anything below 60 degrees lol

Imo Baltimore is the first “northeast city”.

I know we like to say “Mid Atlantic” but that’s not a real thing lol. Vibe wise Baltimore feels like a smaller Philly and DC feels like a much bigger Richmond/Charlotte so it makes sense to me.

 

The new Brandon Sanderson book in his Stormlight series comes out tomorrow and I have serious FOMO as I have not read any book in the series but I know its a big deal

Hawaii is elite. People are so chill and friendly, you’re basically only hated by the locals if you’re an entitled asshole. Incredible tropical jungle nature, A+ beaches that are easily some of the best in the world, rain is usually a light drizzle, weather between 60 and 85 with a breeze year round.
