The Golden At Bat should be one at bat per game where the fielding team gets to sub out the current batter for a senior citizen. The twist is that the hitting team gets to choose their Golden Hitter, and their identity isn't revealed until the Golden At Bat is invoked. They could have surprise celebrity Golden Hitters with a big WWE-style entrance when they come out to step up to the plate.

MLB youre not a STAR DRIVEN LEAGUE stop! At least not at a national level. It's not going to happen and it doesn't need to happen. It's a localized product. Get the loser franchise owners of like half of the teams to fucking get off their ass and participate in the league more.

 

El Jefe was on espn last night saying the next 2 days will involve more negotiating meetings but that the decision is almost certainly coming before Monday's winter meetings.
