brian is a totally different character this season

 

He has been a little insufferable lately

 

I prefer this seasons Brian haha

 

I'm not sure Im vibing with how they're handling the louis plot for these last few episodes

 

Yeah I'm getting a little sick of Jimmy's shit with the guy

 

Jimmy’s had like, one interaction with him lol

 

He's had two

 

The first one totally doesn’t count, come on lol

 

Kinda crazy there is only one episode left in the season. I love this show but they really need to amp it up next season, get things moving, or things could get stale. Extremely little of anything happened this entire season. With Scrubs there was the factor that almost every episode featured a new patient and a new conflict, kept things somewhat fresh. But before long, storylines and character arcs were being repeated. Then, they ran out of steam with Ted Lasso pretty quickly. I’m getting the sense Bill Lawrence struggles to keep momentum up in his shows.

 

it's not even that for me, i mean yeah i didn't like how he left it with him, but he literally wasn't even in the episode this week and it's been a little disjointed having the him prominent in some episodes and then not at all or just a passing moment like this week.

 

Yeah as much as I enjoy this show, which I really do, with this season almost over now it’s definitely pretty easy to look back and see how scattered it’s been. Lot of smaller subplots popping off all over the place and it’s hard to see what the overall through line of the season was or is. Currently have a pretty bad feeling about the season finale cliffhanger likely having something to do with Louis.

 

I mean, he’s pretty definitely about to kill himself

 

it’s gonna be him being about to kill himself and jimmy finally letting go and helping him bc it’s an Apple show

 

I’m fine with the plot not really going anywhere. I just enjoy the show because of the characters and their interactions. I’ve just embraced the cartoonish-ness.

 

There is 12 episodes this season.

Need her to be main cast forever, great chemistry (duh) between them immediately

Man, I get why Gaby needs her space, but I feel so bad for her mom. Stoked to see Cobie in this btw and, yeah, Derek is the best

 

It would’ve been so easy to reduce Derek’s character to being the punching bag of the group, kinda felt like that in season 1. Appreciate how confident he’s written this season
