I’ve been selling myself on Tetairoa McMillan today. I’m worried about taking Campbell at 4 and he’s a guard and we’re still down two tackles and need a WR.

    The rivalry is back on

I like McMillan more than the best OL in this class and NE also badly needs a WR1, but also NE can’t afford to destroy Drake Maye with this OL again so hopefully they do the thing Carolina did last offseason and throw large stacks at the best pending FAs so they can do that

My ideal setup would be to draft McMillan and trade back up for either Simmons or Ersery or Wyatt and toss a shit ton of money at the line in free agency too.

I’m not sure how I’d feel about going with McMillan if we toss a bag at Tee Higgins. This WR room needs all the help but that feels very duplicative

Seeing the convo yesterday in week 14 thread: the Jags have one of the worst secondaries, assumingly a struggling o-line, 1 good WR, and a need at DT. There's players as all these spots high in the draft. Their season ended back-to-back years with their QB getting hurt.

They're going to end up with a top 3 pick and if they use that to take an RB or trade down and still take Jeanty in the top 15 I just feel like that is a terrible idea on paper (even if it would be fun on gamedays, which of course I am not denying).

This class feels pretty deep at RB with guys like Kaleb Johnson, Judkins, Henderson, Hampton, Giddens, Singelton, Sampson, Gordon, etc. all maybe being something. But I don't know, I don't think Etienne/Bigsby are bad enough to NEED to use a prime draft asset on an RB this year

You guys are all probably right, I just think it’d be fun and the Jags are a go nowhere loser franchise anyway so they may as well be fun

That's why I'd rather them not be fun TBH

I don't want to Bijan him, let him go to greener pastures

See but if he goes to Dallas now I’m obligated to hate him.

I do wonder how high Jeanty goes simply because this is an insanely deep class. Also the Jags need.to draft a RB. Not high at all but I am of the belief that until you have three, you should be drafting.

I keep seeing "well look how high Bijan went!"

yeah, Bijan sure has turned around that storied Atlanta Falcons franchise!

    He should've been an Eagle/Lion

    I'll never forgive the Falcons

Well the big part of the argument for me is that the Jags already have the QB figured out. Did the falcons? Do they yet?

Yeah I don't disagree they should draft one, but not a prime 1st round pick on one lol

I'm pretty sure Matt is looking at it from the standpoint of "trading down will get us multiple 1sts" rather than "we'd spend our only 1st" (which would be more likely in this class I feel)

Once Cousins gets blown out in his Minnesota return game, Mr. Penix will be taking over and then we'll see if they figured out QB lol

Yeah I still think if they trade down and use a top lets say 15-20 pick on an RB it just doesn't feel like a wise idea when it is a supposedly deep RB class which may contain better answers than Etienne/Bigsby but in the 2nd/3rd rounds.

Yeah no Jags should take Hunter or, if the offer is that good, trade down. Jeanty, absolutely not. I'm thinking RB in like the 4th at the earliest.

Am I the only one worried of the whole Deion thing and that ego focused stuff with the Colorado players?

  23. Fucking Dustin

I am with Shedeur but Hunter has seemed pretty focused on winning and not on the bullshit

It obviously can't 100% be predicted in that regard but I feel like the language Hunter has given vs Sanders has been pretty telling

  24. MidDave

    I'm Sleepy Supporter

Fair enough. I haven’t followed it too closely, I just see all the shit Deion and his kid are talking an start helmet scouting a bit too much probably

I should also say that Hunter has the appropriate level of ego for a hybrid WR/CB because each of those positions require SOME egomania to be successful
