Has anyone played Thymesia? I can't tell if I'm really bad at it/don't understand it or every enemy is just a crazy tank who can kill me in 3 shots

I'm usually half decent at Soulslike's but this is rough

 

For sure, I know there's that one people like to speedrun, that would have been nice. Still, I am satisfied with the list. Would love to see a vol. 2 with DS era games

Like I'll buy a game full price and not even get around to playing it for a year. I think the last game I played upon buying it at release was FF7 Rebirth.

 

Finally beat the Treviso Champion in Veilguard, it was my first one and it took me about 3-4 tries just to figure out the attack pattern. Most annoying part was its last health bar took so long to deplete.

 

2 and 3 definitely.

 

I attempted him and realized I was severely under leveled. Attempted the Wet Lands one and did better but still too low lol

 

Yeah I unknowingly wandered into the area my first time in Treviso and couldn’t do it lol. I still had to just run around and avoid attacks but I think Harding and Lucanis had abilities that stacked stagger and increased damage and it worked out. It just took too long for my liking.

 

It’s kinda funny to think back to like black ops 2 era where I was actively playing as much as I could to get to prestige 10.

now I’m playing black ops 6 and I’m just like ugh absolutely not. I refuse to prestige.

Playing Spider-Man 2 now. God, these Spidey games are just so fun. I could web sling for hours.

 

So glad to see this game go from a simple little Apple Arcade exclusive to a console port that looks like it's actually worth it. Will definitely try it, not only for the name behind it but their last mobile offerings were a blast too.

Oh yeah oops I reread my post and I guess I implied it was some kinda remake when I just meant it's actually worth it as an Android pleb it was never coming to my phone so now I can actually get it lol and definitely seems like the wait was worth it.

Iris and the Giant: i got to the final boss of the second path, which was a challenge in and of itself because the monsters there are generally harder to deal with than they are on the first path, but holy mother forking shirt balls that final boss is way too difficult. It felt like a game of attrition at that point, I was running out of cards while monsters kept spawning. What a nightmare. You know what, no thanks, I think I'm good. I'll probably continue playing because the game continues to be fun but I'm not gonna keep trying to beat that ridiculous last stage. I'll see if I can find the final cutscene online
