Triple post but I love how all these stories are tying in. And like Seth is right. Sami is right.

 

And deepest of all, KO is right, as Sami gets murdered by Drew for getting involved in a thing that isn't his like 3 times over, for a man who tried to murder him in front of his family 2 years ago...

Seth reminding Sami that Roman hasnt apologized is the same thing driving Hangman in AEW. Both companies have a really deep soap opera going where people who are faces cant quite reckon with all the shit the heels have done yet been cheered for.

 

And then add that Roman hasn’t changed. He’s still the narcissist asshole. So all the heels really do have a point.

 

the storytelling and promowork in WWE rn juxtaposed with C2 AEW ringwork is a fuckin feast

 

I know it got over shadowed last night but I really enjoyed the Finn stuff last night as well

 

Seth didn't come across as a heel to me last night imo (aside from arguing with Sami and he was right). I know that's how McIntyre initially started in his current run, though. I enjoy the little shake-up they have going on at the top of the roster right now.

I really like where they're going with Jey, Sami, Punk, Seth and Drew. I think they all bring out the best in each other and the storytelling has actually been pretty good so far.

 

One of the better twists on an angle in quite some time with new day. As a casual I caught wind of the news and had to watch because of it. Too easy to just turn Xavier. And yeah if they're gonna turn heel, you do it in the most heel way possible. It like 30%makes sense...like that's how a heel is supposed to think and act. It has just a hint of some truth (to them) and it makes them go "yeahhhhh actually screw the fans".

Honestly, why not end the show with that segment? Only complaint. It would have felt like a true mic drop moment.
