Really just not a fan of the visual aesthetic of this particular album cycle.

i've got a copy coming in the mail by the end of this week. hoping nothing is warped or damaged. somehow my copy of Red TV was fine save for some centering problems on the first disc.

realistically, if she wants a whole booklet and enough room for all the discs, she should do a thicker gatefold similar to The Fragile (where each side is the thickness of a larger single LP sleeve). but i guess this is more cost-effective effective?

the digital cover for The Anthology is much better and should've stayed for physical copies despite being the same as one of the alternate covers for the base album.

I like the vinyl picture…the way her hair falls and is in a bow is very aesthetic

i’ve been meaning to tell you

i want the songs but yeah really only like the og cover and the black dog cover. this one is easily the worst of them all.

ignoring the plethora of limited variants and their respective covers, i'd say this one ranks in the middle for me when compared to the other 4 base covers. standard is best followed by Black Dog, then after Anthology it's Bolter then Albatross

Unfortunately because of how my brain works I had to buy The Anthology vinyl even though I don’t even like it lol

I don’t need to complete her discography right now. I’ll wait to get this once vinyl falls out of fashion.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

What Kacey did for Deeper Well is so much better than this Anthology release. Just the bonus tracks (plus a woodland sound experience!), no need to buy the album you already bought again.

Of course, but as we have established many times, Taylor cares about sales numbers and boosting TTPD as a singular release. Separating them would not count toward our Capitalist Queen's records and sales numbers. Kacey doesn't care.

Did anyone pick up the book? I was going to grab it for my fiance for Christmas, but I've seen/heard anecdotally that it's of very poor quality and littered with spelling errors.

more like The Errors Tour Book, amirite?

in all seriousness, i've considered this as a potential Christmas gift, but have held off after hearing the same

I got the book and I didn’t read it, just flipped through but it was pretty good quality imo especially for the size and price

There were some photos that made me think, “hm, this photo doesn’t seem to be as high definition as the one next to it.” Maybe she prioritized photos where she looked good over quality (probably what I would do). The physical book seemed fine to me. I didn’t see any typos but I think they were mostly in the surprise song list which I wasn’t going to read. The most disappointing part was that I didn’t see myself in any of the crowd shots :(

Someone on Reddit showed that a lot of the pictures were just screenshots from the movie and some of the photos are low quality.

Book quality seems good to me for the price. its cool memento, was hoping for more actual words and behind the scenes info but yea its 90% photos. The sketches of the outfits from the designers are cool.
