They had some solid breakfast for a while. But I haven’t eaten at Wendy’s in years either, so that could have changed

 

There is one good Wendy’s kinda near me but the 2 closest to me absolutely suck

 

I think Wendy’s bread just sucks now. It’s so dry

also my local Wendy’s is a disaster, the cashiers are mean as fuck and I literally can’t hear them, they just mumble. I’m a cashier and pretty disinterested/annoyed with everyone but I’m a champion compared to them

 

I still like the dave's single/double, big bacon classic, JBC, nuggets and spicy chicken sandwich, but Wendy's has definitely gone way downhill. Fries are not very good. LTO frosty flavors are not good either. Overall quality is much lower.

The mushrooms were minced, so they weren't that noticeable. It was the creamy garlic spread which really ruined it. The burger was an improvement over their smokey mushroom bacon cheeseburger from a few years ago, but they all pale in comparison to the gluttonous OG version called the bacon mushroom melt. That was basically canned mushrooms and cheese whiz on a bacon cheeseburger which sounds terrible, but the level of umami was outrageous. The last two iterations have attempted to be fancy and they're just not good.

I have literally never gotten a fresh batch of spicy nuggets there

 

They really seem to hate making them haha

 

I got the Wendy's boo bag for the cute lil glow in the dark skeleton frosty figure. It came with a book for coupons for free jr sized frosties. There's legit sooo many of them I need to give some away cause I don't think I'll use them fast enough even tho I love a good frosty

Love Wendy's and the Son of Baconator along with the nuggets. Fries are garbage but hey I can just not order them. The 5 or 6-dollar biggie bag is (calorically) easily one of the cheapest meals in the city of Washington DC and the Wendy's by me being under construction has put me in the poor house

every time I have Popeyes (had it today) I just think about all the people out there wasting their money at KFC instead and I’ll never get it. if you have both places in your town, why the fuck would you choose KFC literally ever? doesn’t even remotely taste like real food anymore to me. fucking garbage

Popeye's is never as good as I want it to be and KFC is always about as good as I'd expect it to be, but I haven't had either in probably over a year, and our Popeye's is far from normal.

 

We got this advent calendar that's all jams, jellies, and honey and it rules.

 

Dude my mom gave my wife and I one of these at Thanksgiving. I didn’t know that many jellies and honeys could exist

 

My buddy got an advent calendar of chocolates filled with shots of liquor and it sounds pretty great haha
