i'd take out a few songs but M A N I A is my favourite record of theirs.

It's your favorite record of theirs but not favorite enough that you won't mutilate it if given the opportunity.

you won't like my actual favourite fall out boy album that i wouldn't cut songs from, i just don't feel like arguing with people about it.

I don't get it, is it AB/AP? Because other than that, I can't imagine any other FOB album having a negative response.

I've actually never listened to that, so I don't really have an opinion.

I was about to confidently agree with this but then…

I respect it though! You definitely don’t see that as people’s favorite FOB album every day, stand by what you love!

pete mentioning frail and honeywell may just be one of the coolest things i've ever read.

Love this interview especially as a Black person who loves this scene (with many caveats haha). I don't think I've heard Pete speak this candidly about being biracial. I love this quote in particular

"But I do agree that if you were not white, then theoretically you probably weren’t going to find somebody of the exact same archetype as you. But there were other “others.” And that was one of the things I loved about it. At those shows I didn’t really think about it. Maybe I would think about it when you’re filling out a standardized test and they’re like, “What race are you?” And I’m like, “I don’t know! What do you want me to be?” [laughs]"

You all should check out this clip with young Petey with locs at a Buried alive show with Joe in the crowd (before they knew each other?).
