Jalen Suggs with 31 last night, a new career high. Caldwell-Pope finally had a decent shooting game, too. Orlando is now an NBA best 9-1 in their last 10, as well as the only team without a home loss. Which means I've probably jinxed them.

There were a total of 60(!) fouls called in the Magic/Nets game, which is not shockingly an NBA season high. It was one of those borderline unwatchable games where if someone as much as threw their head back after contact there'd be a whistle. Definitely one of the ugliest games I've seen in a while. Orlando held Brooklyn to 42 second half points to pull out the win.

I continue to be shocked at how much Cole Anthony has fallen off. He’s never been much more than a teeny shooting guard who can sometimes catch fire, but he's not even capable of that now. His handle is really loose, most of his passes are bad, and he's endlessly hunted on defense. I think the fact that Mosley (finally) has him on such a short leash is one of his best adjustments.

 

Pulled the trigger on League Pass today since it's half price sale. $55 to see my Magic all season is clutch. Taking my 11 year old nephew to his first NBA game this week. Orlando @ Philly. Praying Orlando can keep it up and Sixers continue to be trash. 5 rows behind Magic bench. Couldn't even get a nosebleed at the garden for the Magic this week for the price I paid for Wells Fargo Center.
