I have more games on steam than any platform but my switch collection is pretty solid and I have ps plus essentials and a handful of games I own. I tend to split my time evenly between the three depending on what I’m focusing on

I downloaded the demo of metaphor refantazio and think i like what ive seen so far. Never played persona or many jrpgs so branching out but its good so far, if completely out my wheelhouse.

I skipped to the bottom and I’m not mad about the #1 spot. I think it’s one of the best games ever made in general, so that’s fair to me.

Legit surprised to see TLoU isn't at number one. It shouldn't even be on the list to begin with but I expected IGN to put it first.

Tetris Effect is on the list at 84. No, the other 83 games are not better than Tetris.

Ridge Racer Type 4 should be higher.

I truly don't understand why some people view SSX Tricky more favorably than the obviously superior SSX 3.

Not a single Splinter Cell game is on the list but I'll give them a pass because everyone knows the definitive versions of those games are the PC or Xbox releases.

Last but not least, Ace Combat isn't on the list which means the list should be thrown in the garbage.

I thought I was scot free since I didn't get on the block list after the heated Dragon Age Inquisition debate. Oh well. Can't please everyone.

  9. I now have a win with each type in Dead Cells and Survival is my least favorite. The large health bar is nice and all but the weapons are too slow for my taste. Fortunately, I had an OP Mushroom Boi! that ended up being a hard carry. Brutality is still my favorite but I had a lot of fun with the quick bow and barbed tips combo for Tactics. Time to check out the remaining biomes and then bump things up a notch.

Oh no, they patched Stalker 2's dead zone controller settings without giving an option to keep the original.

Me and my cousins just tried to do the directed mode of zombies terminus on cod 6 and we played for nearly 2 hours and got to the final part and still failed. I’m crying.

finished Death's Gambit. I got the "worst" ending bc i'm too lazy to fight the bigger badder bosses. I guess the story's okay. I enjoyed the story of Death's Door more, it explored similar themes but had more compelling lore. combat was difficult at the beginning but after some leveling up it got way more manageable. all in all the boss fights required equal amounts of dodge, block, and parry, you couldn't really rely on only one. traversal is kind of boring, you get double jump and air dash way early and nothing really expands on that in a meaningful way. i think the biggest draw for me was the character progression, experimenting with different talents, abilities, and gear. (there seems to be a bug where a talent says it scales bow with strength but it only applies to bow abilities, not the bow's damage itself; finding that out was rather disappointing.) there's a level cap of 150 for first playthrough and I got to 125. I think gear could be upgraded to +12 but I only went up to like +3. I didn't feel like grinding to max out everything, and I still beat the final boss (but not the final, final boss, bc apparently that's a different ending that, again, I was too lazy to get). i was really worried for a sec there that this would be the first MV i'd drop, I'm glad i stuck with it.

Honestly the list is fine. God of War 2018 on #2 is insane tho imo, and I like that game a lot.

Been dipping my toes in Factorio a bit lately. Really compelling game but seems like I'd need to devote hundreds of hours to it to really get it. These are the days where you really got to decide what kind of gamer you want to be.

    Anybody get into Factorio before?

I am incredibly intimidated by Factorio, especially after giving Satisfactory a shot and refunding. Factorio seems easier to understand though because you have a birds eye view of everything
