Wanna Hear It rules. I stopped in there a few months ago to buy a Glocca Morra record and ended up leaving with five other records as well

I have been ordering from them for a while now, they always have great stuff and are super nice.

 

owner is a massive Jimmy Eat World fan and recently they put up literally every Jimmy 7” i am missing to complete my collection. i was so jealous of whoever picked those up. i’m so close to completing it!

i ended up stopping in when i was in the area a couple weeks ago, they had plenty of dope stuff- i think i picked up like 5-10 records but if i didn’t have almost every record i ever wanted already, i would have been able to clean house with how many great options they had.

wanna hear it is the dream record shop for someone who enjoys hardcore/punk/emo/etc. because they really do such a good job in consistently getting cool rarities of all value levels. it’s not always an OG Cheshire Cat worth stupid money, but sometimes just a State Lines record for $6 that is on a colorway out of print and if you’re into them, that might be a steal for you.

 

saw a couple cool tiny in stores there too over the last few years. rocky votolato in 2023 and matt pryor this past year.

I asked them if they knew where the nearest public bathroom was and they let me use the one in the store 10/10 great folks

 

If you ever find yourself wanting to see a show at Roadrunner, it’s just down the road

they are always called wax mage? i am not familiar with this trend, that's the first time i saw price difference on the same record from 30 bucks to 80 bucks, that's insane, i would never buy a record for 80 dollars.
