Hahah I've actually posted that on Facebook the last two years on April 1st

 

was seeing a really cool girl for about a month exclusively but always kind of felt weird about it and i noticed i was kind of pushing those feelings aside which wasn't healthy. long story short i called it off last friday and she took it pretty hard and was really tough for me too. i thought i was ready for something serious again but it terrified me. by that same token, i don't think i would have truly known if i was ready or not had i not been in that situation to begin with :/

Even if my relationship was just constant text updates on her Gilmore Girls re-watches and geeking out over Andrew McMahon songs and googling a list of best fireplace bars to check off this winter, I'd think I'd hit the fucking jackpot in life.

Last Friday, we went to the "open late" hours at the Museum of Fine Arts and pretty much had the museum to ourselves. We sat in his big open cafe in the middle of this gorgeous glass atrium and ordered a bottle of wine and a cheese plate and sat and talked for an hour and a half and then wandered around all these masterpieces. I legit didn't know it was possible to be so happy.

I'm pretty sure my entire family thinks I'm into women and they tiptoe around the issue and I can tell and it's awkward. Maybe cause I don't date much? Cause I don't talk about crushes or attractions ever? idk but I usually just pretend I don't notice them doing it.
