Jeeze, the PXPlay app is SICK.

Third party app that lets you stream and use non-PS controllers. I'm at my mom's with my PS5 back at my apartment and this is running smooth as butter in 1080p. No need for a Portal at all haha

It's an Android handheld actually, not sure if there's a Windows equivalent!

It works pretty much right out of the box if you're on the same network, but if you want to play from another network, you do need to reserve a private IP for your PS5 on your router and enable port forwarding for a few TCP/UDP ports. Then, plug your router's public IP address into the app and you're good to go

 

I call that into question, seeing how Playground is hard at work making the new Fable game and seeing how they use a completely bespoke engine, making porting a less than trivial task.

 

More companies should strive to be like Devolver. Totally based energy.

Loved Forza 2 and 3 on 360. However the one franchise I’ve been jealous of now being a Sony boy is the Forza Horizon series. Would love to have a port of those games!

I fucking hate Forza Horizon. Sluggish handling made for 30fps coupled with cringe festival setting, ugly UIs and Ubisoft style maps.

But on a side note, a lot of people don't know Ubisoft got their open world formula from open world racing games released in the early to mid 2000s. It's a pretty timeless design for the racing genre. For shooters and adventure games, not so much. But it shall forever be a staple for open world racing.

Deaths Gambit has grown on me. I think I just had a harder time with the beginning of the game.

 

Tell me if I’m wrong, but my interpretation of the Silent Hill 2 ending: Mary was sick with some illness we don’t know and getting treatment in a hospital in Silent Hill. She came back home to see James one final time because she was dying and there was no hope for her. He killed her with a pillow as a “mercy kill” and drove to Silent Hill because a letter told him to find her there even though he knew she was dead, but his subconscious blocked it out. In the town, he saw Angela, Eddie, and Laura, who were real and were also there to face demons in their past (actually maybe Laura was just called there too because she was in the hospital with Mary…?) I’m still not sure if Maria was a monster that summoned him there to face his sins as some malevolent force or if she was a part of his subconscious like Pyramid Head and the nurses. I supposedly got the “leave ending”, so James came to terms with what he did and he left with Laura to do idk what

 

Anywho, I just downloaded DQ3 Remake. Bye, world.
