it blew my mind when i learned the law doesnt require commercial drivers to have ac. i cant imagine being a usps driver doing city routes in the hotter parts of the country not even being able to catch some cross wind through the windows. commercial driving is hurting for people for good reason. low pay, wage theft, constant stress, sleep deprivation, inherent danger of the job, liability/risk of killing someone, companies cheaping out on maintenance, dot always out to ruin you, cant smoke weed ever, the general public drives like assholes around you, and the law only mandates your company truck to have heat so your windshield doesnt fog up. i think corporate america must be banking very hard on antonymous driving taking over the distribution industry soon.
