I feel like they’re gonna do tariffs, everyone will get mad, then stop them and say they eradicated all fentanyl so everything is fine

 

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I’d put money on it. Border crossings have virtually stopped, no fentanyl, nobody thought it was possible, it’ll be much meaner next time but I don’t think there’ll be a next time because we’re tough, etc.

 

They’ll claim it’s working on the border almost immediately considering crossings are already way down. Day 1 they’re gonna be touting it as their doing

 

Well if they're not even lying that they've got a response from the resistance that's a good sign i suppose

 

How in lock step is HzB with the Lebanon government? If a deal is made with one, does that also mean the other?

 

Not very and no, is my understanding. Hzb frequently described as "state within a state" and I don't think the Lebanese government approved their missile campaign for the last year either. I think diplomatically and militarily they're pretty independent. Lebanese government and Hzb work together in good faith when necessary though. Again all my understanding
