Really enjoyed this. Score and cinematography were great. Funnier than I expected at times. Wish Stanley Tucci got more screen time.

I finally watched this. Pretty good procedural thriller with some great cinematography.

Imagining all the old catholic ladies going to see this in their church groups horrified by the what if they elected a secret intersex person as Pope? ending lol

I like Breakfast Everyday's take on this "this may have a prestige Oscar Movie sheen around it, but really this is a tawdry trashy pageturner airport novel movie, but a very good well made one at that"

I really enjoyed this but found that the final twist didn’t really land. They didn’t really sit with its implications at all, especially because they clearly intended on not revealing it to the world.

Kind of surprised the ending hasn't made this movie subject to a major "anti-woke" online brigade yet. Maybe that will come when it gets nominated and it's on a streamer.

i think partially because it’s been unanimous that the ending is batshit and out of nowhere. you don’t have to be anti-woke to think it doesn’t fit the movie we’ve just been watching.
