Had a show last night just watched the ppv that shit was bad ass. Mercedes and Stat tore the house down

 

Pretty stacked tournament! Gimme Fletcher/Osperay in the finals with Fletcher going over once again.

 

Give the people what they want, Brody vs Mortos for the continental title

 

Seems to me like its setting up Okada v Ospreay.

 

White/Hangman was solid, Ospreay/Fletcher was match of the night, and Garcia/Perry was really good with a strong ending. Those would be my 3.

Could also drop White/Hangman for one of the final 2 matches, depending on which type of "dudes getting destroyed" you like watching. Swerve/Lashley was damn good, but also kind of a squash. And OC/Mox was bloody and messy and an amazing OC showcase.

 

there is always gonna be dudes i wish could be included in tourneys like this, but holy fuck man the c2 looking FIRE!!!

Looks like they are doing KO/Cody for the title at Saturday Nights main event, since KO isn’t winning they should have KO go ballistic after the match and beat the hell out of Cody

• Fightful Select also reported that AEW is soon likely to change the venue for Grand Slam Australia, WresteTix then added that “initial VIP sales” for the Feb. 15, 2025 show at Brisbane’s 50,000+ seat Suncoast Stadium “were encouraging”, but there now are still “large quantities of available tickets” for “much of the [seating] map”.

 

I know WWE does this sometimes to where they run an international PPV because the city pays them, but, huge mistake for AEW to not run it in Sydney or Perth like WWE does.

That sucks for her because there goes that Bianca story for WM, which means she's gonna be 2 years in with no meaningful singles story. Hard to imagine she doesnt end up as a mid-card enhancement talent going forward by the time she gets back
