The hospital might also have a financial assistance/forgiveness program that you may qualify for. If you search the hospital website/billing department you should be able to find info about those programs if they have them.

yep, most facilities do! The one I work for, the single income limit is like 99,000 and married is like $175,000. They vary obviously if you add in children.

Re: the Trump tariffs, I’m reminded that he has always been a bullshit artist. Circa 2012 he claimed to have irrefutable evidence of Obama being born outside the country and announced a press conference to reveal the evidence. When it came time, Trump simply said that instead, he was willing to donate a million dollars to the charity of Obama’s choice if Obama issued irrefutable proof that he was born in the U.S.

Damn. Ours tops out at $100K, no matter how many kids you have. Been maxing out my 401k, trying to not go over the line and get fucked on autoimmune treatment.

So I did a little math. America's biggest food import from Mexico is tomatoes. Right now at most grocery stores I see tomatoes cost around $3.20 per pound. With 25% tariffs they are probably going to be about $4 per pound.

The exhausting “Biden did left wing” vs “Biden did moderate”argument aside, this is mainly true imo and it’s just hard to see a future pres doing it again due to the fear/backlash against inflation.

No. It was still top down stuff. He let the child tax credit expire and restarted student loans. He didn’t invest directly in the working class like left wing policies would (free healthcare, free childcare, actual loan forgiveness etc). That’s just more of the same look at this graph stuff that most people didn’t feel

it's cool how Democrats don't 'do left wing' at all but then blame all of their problems on 'doing too much left wing'
