I’m still just really perplexed as to how anybody could ever think tariffs like that will be effective or helpful in any way, shape, or form.

This is going to be such a mess.

 

The argument is that it will encourage US manufacturers to open up plants in the US and hire American workers. But of course that would be a years long process.
