One of my most niche policy takes is that I think 55+ age restricted communities should be illegal.

Though I guess even though they’re 2-5, they did win two in a row, so maybe it’s turning around

Was curious what SA and MBS' game is with Trump is here so I did a little reading: apparently their play is to leverage Trump's ultimate goal of getting SA to join the Abraham Accords and their recent friendliness with Iran and China to try to get Trump to recognize a Palestinian state and Palestinian sovereignty. Expansion of the Abraham Accords will absolutely not happen if Trump allows Israel to annex the West Bank for example. I think they're gonna tell Trump it's either a final US recognized two state solution or we stop playing ball and take our bag to our new Chinese homies.

“The strong showing of Georgescu, who has no party of his own, and campaigned largely on the social media platform TikTok, came as the biggest surprise of the election.”

    That’s certainly concerning

  22. The Sahel Juntas are doomed, it seems. Jihadist groups control most of the countryside and are going to continue to do so, trying a long term play where they avoid large operations in the cities, presumably having seen what happened in Mosul and Raqqa and deeming it not worth the trouble and attention. Al Qaeda is very much still alive:

Picked the worst time to go on a 100% remote WFH job search when like 90% of companies now have returned to the office or are doing hybrid BS. The only stuff I can find is telemarketing and insurance sales. This is coming from me doing WFH stuff for a legit well known major corporation for 5 years.

The push to RTO over WFH is really the biggest glaring example of why "capitalism breeds efficiency" is absolute horseshit.

The only real solid lead I have is from my friend that works for a company that hires 100% remote positions that is a subcontractor for the federal government, but with Vivek and Elon pushing RTO for federal workers who knows if contractors would be affected too.

I am Neurodivergent, have social anxiety, and absolutely hate commuting with a passion. Taking away WFH is like taking away one of the best things that ever happened to me.
