Next year is the governor’s race in New Jersey and while I haven’t 100% decided who I am supporting yet, I’ve been liking a lot of what this guy has been saying. He’s also making housing and public transportation a main focus for his campaign.

Last week I emailed all the candidates running with some questions about their environmental policies, and he’s the only one that answered me.

His point on ranked choice voting made me think of something, understanding the logistics and tall hurdle it would take but could a individual state implement a parliamentary style system of government?

I know Nebraska is the only state that has a single-house system so it does not seem like it has to be consistent with what the national system is.

I don’t see why not, there’s nothing in the constitution that would require a state to have a certain type of democracy…but it would be reallly weird to make the switch haha

One of the reasons why they didn’t do a parliamentary system is they thought it might give factions (parties) too much power, so…

I've been reading the book Winners Take All and there's a chapter that talks about Bill Clinton and his foundation and it's giving me a newfound hate for the man
