Notre Dame’s loss to NIU is somehow still the weirdest result of the season.

The biggest winner today is probably the ACC. Miami and SMU can probably both get in if the SEC drops from a four bid to a three bid league.

Stinky ass shit tonight. According to the broadcast, most pathetic performance since some shitty ass Shula game in 2004.

Milroe has a tendency to play Hero ball immediately after he has great games, which was the biggest issue tonight. Earlier this year, I blamed the coaches for not using the RBs enough, but I now think it’s just Milroe choosing to pull it himself on reads way too often. When it’s working, it’s unstoppable but when it’s not, he still keeps doing it because he had success with it the week before and thinks he can just work through it. I’m optimistic that next season with a full transfer portal time and the coaches being able have someone that fits their system more, we’ll have a much better picture of what this team will be under DeBoer.

You have to feel bad for the kid who dropped it. But after Auburn got jobbed in the 2OT, I’m extremely glad they won that.

Can't tell if today's results show the playoff is cool or terrible. Like the fact that Bama can lose its third game in a rather embarrassing fashion and still arguably be favorites to make the playoff because a bunch of the teams below them lost as well is rather dumb

But its cool that all of these top 15 games can actually be impactful on things

I said 12 is too many. Thought 6 was the magic number. Even 10 (i like byes as a reward to keep elite teams trying at the end).

We should be at the point where the only teams in contention
Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, 1 loss smu vs Miami winner, Georgia (if they win sec title game), Notre dame....and if more chaos happens, then Boise and Tennessee are alive.

Ole miss, Alabama, Texas a&m, should be eliminated.

Yeah, I've been saying all year I don't think DeBoer has the personnel at QB that he's most comfortable with. Milroe has always been a very Jekyl and Hyde QB to me. Once an opposing coach/DC cracks the code and shuts down his outside runs then they may as well have us on the ropes.

    The rivalry is back on

idk, 12 is such a big number. who do you have in instead of the better of those two teams at 3 losses?

ACC gets 1-2 (ACC winner + Clemson if they and Miami both win next week)
Big 12 almost certainly stays a single berth league
Big 10 has the 4 locks, barring an Indiana letdown game next week
SEC gets at least 3 (Texas for sure, Georgia if they win out and maybe still if they just lose the title game, Tennessee if they win out, TAMU if they win out)
    and then Boise/G5 winner

I still see Bama getting in as #12 with a win next week and no upsets anywhere else and probably both of them in if one of the more precariously positioned teams lose in rivalry week

    you forgot notre dame

    Notre Dame
    4 bigTEN
    1 big12
    2 ACC
    1 BOISE
    3 SEC (Texas, Georgia, Tennessee)

thats 12. Yes though, any upset then Alabama, Ole Miss is definitely still alive...which is a little sad.

Clemson/SC winner is still alive too. It's also possible thatA&M makes it still
