hasn’t happened to me on depop but I have like 3 bootleg tees that I ordered months ago that I’ve gotten no updates on.

 

This is so relatable!! I always get compliments on my style or my makeup but my hair is a completely different story. I just always wear it down bc I’m hopeless at styling it. But I don’t really like how it looks down either and I’ve tried countless hairstyles but none of them turn out right! Even a simple messy bun or ponytail looks like shit on me but so cute on everyone else. I’ve given up at this point lol

 

I can’t stand my hair I have a cowlick in the front and my hairline is weird so I get a bunch of flyaways and standing hairs. I also have a bunch of grays but the grays don’t bother me. My hair just looks dull and I can’t afford to get it done. I also feel like a clown when I do my makeup. Like I don’t have the face to look good in makeup

 

You still haven’t gotten your In Rainbows shirt??? Damn it’s been ages now yeah?

 

nope still haven’t, they printed the shipping label on 10/23 and nothing since then. ordered it in June.

Usually the regal by me has the air blasting so I always dress warm bc it’s freezing. Doesn’t matter if it’s cold or hot outside, the AC will be on full blast. So of course today I have long sleeves and a coat on and they have the heat on full blast instead and I’m sweating even with my coat off! Truly can’t win!

 

I recently went to a Cinemark and they had seat warming capability and I was amazed. The Cinemark near me doesn't have that. I'm surprised I didn't fall asleep it was so cozy

 

When fitness girlies on social media do the trend where they show themselves flexing and muscular and then them kinda slouched and sticking their stomach out. To try and be empowering and showing "real" bodies and they don't always look like their social media posts, but their non idealized version is like still amazing or just my body lmao except they have to actively contort themselves to show their body fat. And I know people can still be fit and insecure espesh if it's their job and they're constantly scrutinized but I'm like giiiirl. I just saw one and they were barely different and I was like

I do enjoy the ones where it's a big difference and does show how angles, lighting, fit of clothing, etc make a difference. But when it's like the exact same except the "uglier" version is just them with worse posture or grabbing their skin like it's a bunch of extra body fat it's just... Yikes

It's wild how expensive laundry has become. $10 at the laundromat for one single load

$5.50 per wash, took $4.50 for me to dry it and my jeans and towel were still a little damp

 

My car is a microwave. Even when it’s chilly and breezy out, if the sun is up, the inside of my car is gonna get super warm no matter what

 

I accidently turned on the one at my AMC before I knew they had it, and for the majority of movie I was sweating and getting paranoid that I was getting sick and getting a fever just to finally see the heating light and realize what I'd done.

 

I finally got around to using my new coffee grinder that I got a few months ago and it deadass fucking died after a few days of use

had two Amazon packages that were scheduled to be delivered today (both coming from different places too) and neither one is ostensibly going to be here today. is there a UPS strike or some shit I’m not aware of? they’re usually so punctual. it’s very odd

 

I gotta imagine holiday shopping is picking up so USPS/UPS is probably overloaded with amazon orders and everything else atm. Our mail person usually doesn't show up until 7-8pm this time of year.

Mine is people who telework but don't understand tech or dont have proper technology so they can't do their job duties while they telework. Usually older higher ups. Once I was in a meeting with a host who made it mandatory we appear on camera, but their wifi at their house was so poor they couldn't be on camera. Like naaaw bro if I have to, you have to! If we can't use that excuse, neither can u. I'm all for people working from home, but if you don't have the setup for it or don't understand the setup for it, learn or get back to the office.


And for God's sake, teach the ppl how to share their screen and play the video they insist on embedding or linking to in the meeting. Always takes legit like 10 minutes up of the meeting

I got a new eyeglasses prescription and my left eye is so much worse than my right that my left glasses lens is way thicker, and it is creating this weird effect where if I look down if feels like everything is kind of tilted.
