Not sure how to articulate this but arena and stadium concerts are just a different level than going to your 1K cap venues to see some bands play. It's more show and performance art than concert (depending who you see I guess). The production, choreography (if applicable), etc that these performers put on are just another level. I definitely understand not wanting to pay that amount of money. But I don't think it's comparing apples to apples when talking about a stadium concert vs a concert at smaller venues because they are doing different things. Like paying 300 bucks to see Wicked on Broadway is a totally different experience than seeing it in theaters next week for 20 bucks despite some similarities.

 

This is a good post and counterpoint. I am always impressed with like, Beyonces ability to dance like that and throw all these extravagant details behind her
