As I understand it he only resigned from the 118th Congress, but could still serve in the 119th congress since that was what he was just elected to, right?

Ooo I didn't think of it like this. I thought he resigned from congress in general...hmm.

 

We're in an awkward spot in my curriculum for grade level civics because we have the whole week off next week and we're done the unit, so we're watching a movie today, and decided to put on Street Fight despite never having seen it and yeah I can see why people say this is really good. It's pretty perfect, and even my lower level students that I struggle to get to pay attention to anything are into it.

yeah he originally said he wasn't going to take the oath of office for the next congress, but I don't think that is binding in the same way his resignation from congress is binding.
