I couldn’t find it on switch at GameStop or target yesterday so I settled for steam

 

It really fills me with joy that there's such a demand for this title. Not only for the genre, but also considering it's a remake in such a storied franchise......2024 truly is the year of jrpgs!

 

DQ is HUGE in Japan, feel like it's the biggest JRPG series over there popularity wise

 

Yeah I knew it was big but these numbers are crazy lol. So impressive. DQ12 is gonna do HUGE numbers too.

 

Also today looks to be Avowed preview day!

still crashes on my computer :'( -- it's a known issue with the current version of Windows.

Dualsense Edge is top tier

 

I like the edge. I use the razer wolverine v3 for PC though. I love that controller so much

 

100% Death's Door! i had to look at a guide every now and then, but regardless, that was a very satisfying endgame. once i unlocked nighttime there's very little fighting afterwards, but by that point i'd already gotten the hang of the combat. upgrading strength all the way early on certainly helps, as does the fact that it's dodge-based rather than parry. all in all, would definitely recommend this metroidvania. but that comes as no surprise from me

 

So there's this new gacha VN...written by the person who did Clannad, Jin Maeda. So far it's off to a great start but knowing his last work ....I'm in for a ride.

It's pretty good, idk that it was worth the price though, probably not but it's been holding up really well

 

Im not positive but im pretty sure I have an extra shovel knight treasure trove steam key if anyone wants.

You know what Stalker 2 could benefit from? Ya know, other than bug fixes.

It could use a 40fps mode. I know Playstation and Xbox probably have the numbers on this but I'm certain that 120hz screens are nowhere close to being the majority. But still, 40fps modes on UE5 games legit fixes one of the biggest issues that arise from using that engine. Games feel better than 30fps while not compromising as much visually to hit a higher frame rate target. It brings balance to the force.

 

the patch for Rogue Prince of Persia is a huge nothingburger. game still sucks and is still ugly. I literally tabbed out to check if I had the update. What a dud.
