This EP is so much fun. Can’t wait for more

 

Seeing Comeback Kid for the first time tomorrow night here in Oslo - verryyyyy excited

 

The band “Prowl” is opening and they’re crushing

 

Lots of “Impress me” bros in this crowd just standing still here, slightly nodding along

 

Never sure if you ever heard this, but I think its quite good; only album they ever put out

 

Oh I haven't heard it in years, it's a bit more on the melodic post-hardcore side than what I'm looking for but this was a great album. Thanks for reminding me of them!

 

I had a blast getting into Giver after the recommandation by the way. Wasn't expecting them to suddenly turn into a blackened screamo-y hardcore band on their new album. Love when bands take swings like that.

 

the hardlore this week with akil from end it is great

 

Akil is a treasure

 

Went through this recently and was very happy

 

Akil is incredible. I’m half way through the episode and it’s great so far.

 

I feel called out because this is exactly what I do when I go to shows nowadays, even for bands I love.

 

I was standing near the back of this show, as I wasn't in the mood to pit or be packed in the crowd like sardines, but I was still nodding hard to the riffs, moving my body around a bit, raising my arm or whatever, trying to at least still move to the music in my spot. But most people around me were being very polite Norwegians and just barely nodding their bead....to Comeback Kid. Andrew of CK was desperately trying to get people to come closer to the stage, and several times asked stage divers to start doing what they do, haha.

 

was revisiting this today and feel like it didn't get its shine. really good crossover from last year

 

New Gridiron track!

 

The LP leaned a little too into meme/self-parody territory but had some hard tracks. This track unfortunately is very bad.

 

They also signed to Blue Grape

 

Never expected them to sign with anyone and go more in that other direction. Guess that explains why they’re on a Danny Wimmer fest.

 

This is straight up nu-metal
