Fear Fun is almost as good as Honeybear.

Pure Comedy is good but it's probably my least favorite. I prefer when his lyrics are more inward looking.

God's Favorite Customer is still my favorite. It was also the first one I listened to so I'm biased in that way.

Chloe is underrated, perfect album for a night walk or drive.

 

When Fear Fun first came out I was pretty meh on it. After Honeybear came out it instantly became one of my favorite albums ever. Only then did I go back and absolutely adore Fear Fun. Some of his best stuff on there for sure.

I love Pure Comedy but I can't tell you the last time I listened to the whole thing all the way through. I should change that.

Chorus.FM's "God's Trash" correspondent, reporting in: Josh hinted that following the full album/visual listening party today, listeners will be treated to a "bonus track that rhymes with God's Trash."

In the comments on the original livestream, he confirmed the song will be released in 2025, and that he initially had a 90 minute record. So we may have another FJM album ready to go next year!

EDIT: Confirmed God's Trash will be on a 2025 release. Another song that's been played live, "All God's Country", is officially titled Bruja and may be on that same release.

Its a rare debut that sounds like the artist has been established for years - wildly original and thrilling

 

The Spotify sessions for fear fun are so good.

 

I love his cover of “Everything Is Free” by Gillian Welch. When you listen to what the song’s about, the fact that he did it for Spotify is that perfect little hostile barb that makes him special.

The fact that it's in the bottom half of his discography is just a testament to how good he is as a whole. It's a great record

I don't think I listened to that one. I think I did Pure Comedy and did not like it so I haven't listened to anything after. I'd have to go back and look in the thread

 

It looks like I did listen to the last one of his and at the very least enjoyed Goodbye Mr. Blue. Maybe I'll go through the discog
