Two first singles have been hits for me.

 

Haven't listened to the singles yet but hell yeaaaaaa always down for more Coheed. I didn't stick with Window of the Waking Mind as much as Unheavenly Creatures but I still enjoyed it so Vaxis has been doing great so far!

 

Fuuucking hell that breakdown CRUSHES.

 

Anyone find track lengths yet?

 

Finally got to listen to the song, heck yeah that rules. Video is super fun as well.

 

Be surprised if this wasn't at least an hour long.

 

I really liked Blind Side Sonny, this new track feels way more standard Coheed but it still rox.

I hope you're right. That would average out to around 4.5 minute average if the first song is an intro, which allows for some 3 minute boppers on the front half and could potentially finish with some proggy goodness.

 

New song is good, excited for the album.

 

Hell yeah, I think this might kickstart another discography run through for me!

 

Honestly 4 months isn't too bad of a wait for me. The holidays coming up, plus listening to everything from this year to figure out an end of the year list will take up most of my year, then it'll be a few months once the new year hits.

 

New Spiritbox album in March and now new Coheed. Great month so far!

 

only having the box set up for pre-order is a tad annoying lol where's my regular vinyl!

 

Unfortunately Coheed always waits and does the vinyl preorder a couple weeks after the deluxe boxset preorder. I'm not sure if it's because they need more lead time for the boxset, or they don't want people picking up one or the other, but they've done this the last few release cycles.

 

The only deluxe boxset I want is one that comes with a re-press of the Afterman.

 

What a nice birthday present. I like this song a lot more than Blind Side Sonny. This is vintage late career Coheed. The last album is my favorite of theirs in a very long time, looking forward to this one.

honestly I prefer it this way. The vinyl boxset for afterman was not great. The gold/silver records sounded like garbage, and because of it's odd size it couldn't fit in a sleeve so it developed more wear and tear than a normal LP. I like keeping the vinyl/deluxe separate.

 

Claudio's vocal melodies soaring yet again. Ridiculously consistent

 

one again proving this band is one of the best doing it. this late career resurgence puts them in rarified air imo

 

Excited to check this out in a couple hours

 

This is album ELEVEN and they are still cranking out bangers. I said this during the last rollout, but I honestly just feel super lucky that my favorite band has been doing it with pretty good consistency for TWENTY TWO years so far.

 

it's seriously incredible. what other bands have this consistent of a discography this late in their career? I really can't think of many at all
