I also use a bit of a different barometer for how I view HOF. I think of them as a museum I’ll take Milo to one day and they need to be able to tell the story of the game. So that includes either being the elite of the elite that you can’t ignore (Barry Sanders) or in Eli’s case, rising to the occasion in such spectacular ways multiple times (beating the Patriots twice both on game winning drives.)

If any metric doesn’t consider Rodney Harrison a HOFer then that’s a bad metric

don’t like the guy as a person but he’s a top 10 safety to play the game in my lifetime easily

And the average DB has more INTs because the average DB is from the fuckin 50s and 60s when QBs would throw 7 picks in a game lol. No one is ever beating Dick Lane’s 12 INTs in a season record. Doesn’t evenly scale across eras
