I have a lot of thoughts on this topic, but I think one important thing to remember about the examples you cited are that these are market forces reacting to perceived (or anticipated) shifts in the market as well as trying to shield themselves from likely retribution from an openly vindictive administration.

I also think the media has a vested interest in reporting on the supposed vibe shift to justify their own shifts rightward, and it starts to become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Pro- left wing economic populism, pro-UBI, Pro-medicare for all, but also Pro-border security and anti-crime. That is moreso Kirk telling on himself of who he wants as the loyal opposition than giving the cheat codes to beat them I think.
