I keep forgetting but of all these cabinet picks, even if confirmed there’s a high chance they last less than a year, either fired by Trump or resign after realizing what the shit show really is.

He burned through all of the somewhat serious people in his first cabinet. The new one will be nothing but true believer dregs. Although I'm sure Trump will get bored with or mad at them all eventually anyway.

Gotta wonder how much better stuff would've been if the dems hadn't gotten in their own way. Could've actually had a party more focused on the working class. Not to mention I feel like there is a better chance with Keith in charge of the DNC, Warren and Sanders are able to hash out their differences sooner and produce some sort of unified progressive front instead splitting the progressive vote and letting Biden win the nom

 

Bloomberg saying that Howard Lutnick the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald (and one of the inspirations for Bobby Axelrod in Billions) is currently the frontrunner for Treasury Secretary. Elon apparently is a big Lutnickhead and is pushing for him.

Again the main issue for Treasury Secretary for the Trump people is they want someone who will please Wall Street while unquestioningly supporting Trump's Tariff plan simultaneously, which understandably is difficult to do.

 

I think someone like Faiz Shakir (campaign manager of Bernie 2020, former editor-in-chief of ThinkProgress, former political director of the ACLU, and current executive director of A More Perfect Union) would make a great progressive economic populist DNC Chair pick.

 

i mean i guess he is normal in that he is a former state legislator, but he is also another Fox News host.

He was also a castmember on The Real World: Boston, and was on the 2002 season of The Challenge along with The Miz and Theo Von lol

 

His seasons of Real World and The Challenge are not on Paramount+ dammit. I was going to try to clip and upload as much as I could.
