Posting through it is just what I do to make football fun when watching the Jags itself isn’t fun lol. I feel like people see that as me just picking arguments to spread the misery but it’s not, I like to stimulate my brain with postulating football strategy related theories as to why it ain’t going well.

i think the bigger problem is me and Matt had a pretty bad streak where I couldn’t talk football theory that didn’t match his stats without him taking exception and vice versa - it became a knee jerk habit for way too long. BUT lately we’ve finally reached an agreement that football is SUBJECTIVE and some of his stats are very insightful and some of my theory is very insightful but usually no one can sum up all the context into one “correct” opinion, not even the pros so why do we bother.

At the end of the day Doug Pederson and Trevor Lawrence sucking together defied a lot of “conventional logic” and I think we’ve really just both reached a point where we’re not surprised that they’d lose 52-6 anymore lol

I also sleep on the couch so the nuts and fart smells only affect me.

yeah I’m not saying anyone here specifically and sure hobbies can not be simple/sorta frustrating, but there’s people that let sports dictate how they feel for prolonged periods. At that point it’s time to find something else, because it’s probably affecting people around you. So yes I do think people need to touch grass and rely less on sports as hobbies lol

 

I think I’ve spent more time playing Soul Silver this season than I have watching football
