yeah she was never gonna get the nom, but i do find it poetic this happens the day after a kendrick announcement where he stands in front of a big us flag.

 

The visuals thing is just king of strange because she teased Renaissance visuals (with clips I believe) way back and even hinted at Cowboy Carter visuals so something must have happened behind the scenes.

 

Maybe she’ll drop all 3 acts visuals at once?

explain this to me like I don't watch football, because I don't. It's a halftime show like super bowl, but just for a random game?

 

Netflix owns the NFL rights to the Christmas game and wants a monocultural moment, so they’re spending money to create a halftime show. There’s already a famous halftime show at the Detroit Thanksgiving game every year, and a few others as well… the Super Bowl is just the biggest one.

Maybe if every football game had a halftime show with a cool musical guest, I’d give an shit about football.
