jk apparently there was way more map between where i was and where the boss is haha. still stand by my decision to backtrack and explore other areas. i'm way stronger now so when i do get to the boss it'll be easier

 

The satisfaction I got when I beat the final boss after failing like 50 times. Have fun!

I recommend giving Death’s Door a shot. There’s a lot of old top down Zelda DNA in there, combat is hella fun, the game doesn’t over stay it’s welcome, the art style worked for me, and it is pretty cheap.

hah, beat that boss on the first try. i was right, i wouldve hated that fight if i hadnt already found enough orbs to fully upgrade my strength. exploration before boss fights!
