I've listened to A Lesson a handful of times and it has been a few years for sure but I remember it being pretty middle of the road. Hold On Dodge is great though

I've liked this band for about six years but these past few months they've become one of my favorites. I just can't tell the singers apart lol.

Yeah there's a high probability I'll be buying a ticket to the Detroit show. I hate having to drive that far, but I will for a show like this.

Awesome to see a tour announcement! And headlining HOB? They are definitely expecting this record to get them new fans. I was not expecting that large of a venue.

Man. I used to live in Seattle and I miss it for the shear fact that bands usually made a point to play a show there. Living in Charleston, SC sucks because bands usually will go to Atlanta or Charlotte, which wouldn't bother me if it was a weekend, but it's often a weeknight. Oh well. Still pumped for the record.

Posted it in the news thread, but I really wanted a video and a hard push for Lookers. I thought that chorus was super catchy and had some potential.

Yeah I really don't get why they didn't do a vid for Lookers. Maybe this is the first time I'm really paying attention, but all of this "big" label stuff is kinda confounding to me.

    Lookers chorus is huge.

and just because I'm suspicious and have read both, is it "shalalala jersey girls" or "shine the light on jersey girls"?

There's also one part of Bad Catholics that just sounds like an early 00s pop-rock chord progression that I hate. Don't remember it off the top of my head

I'm curious which song it is. There's a guitar part that I think briefly sounds like Gates, but nothing else has jumped out to me yet.

It's sha la la. That line is referencing Tom Waits' "Jersey Girl"
