Honestly pretty blown away by The Landlord’s Game assuming that was a real thing

 

Loved this. Closed my eyes so many times though.

 

Watched it tonight. It was great. Reminded me of Barbarian with how the story is set up, but this is more dialogue driven. Grant clearly has fun with the role. I laughed out loud when he sang the lyrics to Creep.

And I must say as a Mormon, I'm pretty happy with how they portrayed the sister missionaries. While the movie is an obvious attack on religion and faith, the girls aren't dumb. They don't get steamrolled by Grant's villain, and it was refreshing to see.

 

hopefully seeing this in dolby on saturday. missed a screening last week where they apparently were giving out mini blueberry pies

 

enjoyed this, but didn't really love the ending. still a fun time throughout though.

 

Saw this tonight. Favorite part was the board game monologue. Brilliant on a thematic and humor front.

The illusion of choice and control as a religion notions were such fun concepts and incredibly relevant to recent world events.

 

Seeing this Sunday and can’t wait. Hugh is so good in villainous roles

 

such a tight, well-made thriller. absolutely loved it

 

Grant is probs my favorite actor and the only downside to the great films he's been in recently is realizing he's getting old and won't be around forever

Just saw this and for the first 30 minutes or so all I could think about was how old Hugh Grant looks and then it made me feel old

 

dude looks pretty fucking great for 64 if you ask me

 

For sure but like when your mental image of him is like from the early 2000s it was a big jump. Most importantly, he acted the shit out of this one. Who knew he could be so terrifying

 

Liked but didn’t love this. Grant was fantastic and I think he looks great for his age.

 

The way he just demanded your attention during the conversations was something to behold.

 

also like didn’t love it. echoing grant being absolutely incredible. as someone who has grown up in the most mormon city in the country, the beginning where they were talking about condoms and sex came off extremely inauthentic

 

Grant looks fine and his age but the entire time I kept thinking lol if a woman the same age had that many close up shots showing their wrinkles and gray hair it'd be the topic of much more negative conversation in the media I think. Julianne Moore is the same age and could probably never.
