I was listening to more "the left needs to reach out to young men online" discourse, and i heard somebody on a podcast clip make a great point of what Hasan does very well that works: He is able to differentiate between the actual evil psychos online, and the people who are just kind of dumb and not very political minded and got duped into supporting Trump, and he attempts to engage with the latter in good faith. Something that would have been cancel-able to a lot of people just a few years ago.

which is why Hasan won't ever have a honest debate or discussion with a Ben Shapiro or a Matt Walsh or somebody like that, but he will have a respectful conversation about politics with a Trump supporting bro fitness influencer.

I see the weird food libertarian bullshit infecting where I live. The fresh market right by my apartment used to be a great neighborhood spot to pick up a few ingredients you needed for dinner that night. Now under it's new ownership it is all expensive raw milk, raw cheese, and "cottage food" ( bread, pastries, pasta, ect made in someone's unregulated home kitchen) and very little actual produce.
