Nice to see them announcing their new drummer for the tour so early.

 

I’ve never been more convinced we’re getting new music

 

They could just drop the album/EP on Friday imo, they could just do that with no rollout and I would not complain, not even a little

 

Dropping new music is an easy way to get people even more excited to buy tickets to the tour it’s a no brainer

Someone on reddit did a freaking masterlist regarding the lore and clues based on basically everything ranging from their visuals during their post-reunion touring days to social media captions... and call me My Delulu Romance because I'm convinced they're sitting on a new album right now

I’ve never been one for Reddit theories/etc but I’m actually fairly intrigued by this one.

It’s really just the putting things in quotations for me. Pretty reasonable to think they might be hinting at song titles.

 

All of the conceptual stuff has me a lot more excited to see what this tour will be like even if there isn't any new music.

 

God I love this band.

 

I'm debating if I should try to snatch tickets tomorrow or wait until the day of the show to see if they are cheaper.

 

I'm waiting. Maybe not til day of but I don't see a reason to buy tickets now for the 40k seat show that's 9 months away lol

imagine the brain worms swifties have if MCR fans are this weird

Ah, so it's like Wrigley. That makes sense.

 

Every time I've bought Wrigley tickets it's through their own platform and then yeah, it's in the Ballpark app. But it's not Ticketmaster, still full of fees, though.

 

looks like it was registered with a few other songs several years ago. maybe re-uping the copyright might indicate they plan to do something with it.

 

I kinda get it because it was fun with Brand New before we knew Jesse had gone full pedo, but it was only fun because there was a payoff. This feels like just constant setting yourself up for disappointment and then being mad they disappointed you.

Meh. As long as you're real with yourself that this could all lead to nothing, it's fun to indulge a bit. I've yet to be disappointed post-reunion personally because I'm just along for the ride and happy they exist again. I thoroughly loved the Reunion tour & WWWY and think that Foundations is one of the strongest tracks in their entire catalog.

This is a band that's said in the past that they plant teasers/hints far in advance after all. A lot of the tour outfits, drumheads, weird things Gerard has said, etc. fit this new teaser video. The company that produced this first video said there are two more videos to come from that recording session. There's new in-universe lore. Unreleased song trademarks exist. The last tour led to The Foundations of Decay. Etc. It's not like people are basing all of this off of something outlandish like "Frank tweeted out a picture with 5 hot dogs. MCR5 confirmed???"
