Man, Brett Goldstein is so good. His line delivery of “Yeah…yeah I’m fine” at the end of the most recent episode broke my heart. “Your Mind is Not Your Friend” playing lightly in the background was a perfect mood setter too. I love this show so much. I also love how much more they’re using Brian this season.

Brian rules and I'm glad to see him going after Brett's character

Yeah, I was thinking about it again a bit ago and the writing is so strong here. As a singular episode, what an amazing arc for Brian. Starts out the episode being made aware his husband wants to have a kid and feeling inadequate, insisting he’s too much of a narcissist to be a good father, and then ends the episode proving otherwise with one word, “Hey.”

He first protects his best friend by taking Alice’s wallet so as not to upset the family, but then the moment he also recognizes this man - who he should have every right to hate - is not well and clearly on the verge of being a danger to himself, he does the next right thing and sets aside his own feelings to help a broken man in need. Just so well done and I really can’t wait to see where this goes.

  5. Just caught up. Coach!! Damon is already such a great fit for this show

I think this season is even funnier and has almost made me cry like 6 times.

I’m enjoying it though I feel like the plot has moved maybe 2% with each episode. Probably a factor of the low stakes and coziness of the show, but I can’t help but feel like S1 moved at a faster pace.

Segel’s André The Giant impression in this episode is very funny because I comfort watched I Love You Man earlier and he does it in that too. Love the universe where he tries to work it into all of his projects lol

Emily Gilmore what are you doing here!

“So cool Dave, hope they talk about how I fuck” is probably the hardest Harrison Ford has ever made me laugh. Man I needed this show today

The Mr. Bailey bit is also A+

Man, I know Jimmy has been shitty to Gaby and the show even had Liz telling her that he will never be ready for a relationship... But I still low key ship them somewhere further down the line haha.

This week's episode was top notch. The opening seen at the hospital when Shawn was high on pain meds was hysterical. And the scene at Brett's place was perfect. Love this show.

I enjoyed the episode but this one felt a little too cartoonish at times.

I will keep watching because there’s some funny stuff in most episodes and the actors are endearing, but idk if there’s another show i watch in which the characters act or talk in a less natural way.
