Been trying to find a way to get Enemies onto a playlist for multiple seasons - of course I think it had the advantage of its placement, but still very satisfying to see it get votes. Valuables is one of my favorite records of all time

Literally heard it for the first time a few days before the round started and thought it fit pretty well!

Looks like @Aaron Mook (maybe?) was a fan too…

 

It is so Aaron coded that I assumed he was the one who submitted it haha

 

I completely shit the bed the last quarter of that season and missed deadlines left and right. Whoops!

@irthesteve glad we were on the same wavelengths for vibes.

I didn’t add my lame story about how I discovered that song but it was when I worked for Marriott at a Renaissance hotel - in ~2012-2016, the “welcome channel” that would automatically come on the TVs in the hotel rooms once a new guest checked in would just play “feel it all around” on a CONSTANT loop.

so as an employee as I’d walk in to double check rooms before the guests arrived, I would always hear that song and just always think “yeah…. This is a mooood” lol
