Metallica touring next year and Linkin Park too doesn't help selling tickets to this when they can just travel elsewhere and get a full set

Idk maybe people just don’t care for Linkin Park? This reunion has really had the wind taken out its sails.

Wow I'm shocked, I honestly just assumed this had sold out instantly. Its a great lineup I would totally jump on it if I lived more local.

As mentioned above me, I think the Linkin Park reunion wasnt the massive thing everyone was hoping it would be. There were talks 2 months ago that they were gearing up for a stadium tour next summer, and now the recent leak has them doing arenas. And those random one off shows they've been doing the past couple months all had cheap tickets available on stubhub the day of.

Or maybe it’s the 450 plus price tag for a one day festival.

tier 4 tickets are 505 after fees and everything

im sure the linkin park arena tour will do just fine when it goes on sale next week

I'm sure Metallica fans don't care to spend $450+ on a one day show when they can get 2 nights of Metallica for that same price, maybe a little less at another city. That's what I'm doing. Hitting up the Santa Clara show

Bonnaroo prices just released, small increase in regular tickets, camping increased again. Premium camping options are now running north of $1,900, up to $6,000.

They also announced an Insider ticket that is $13,000 and you need to purchase them as a pair.

    LOL

Kinda seems like there's only gonna be 1 day of WWWY as well, every other year they've announced another day immediately

Didn’t they announce day 2 2023 in February?

Yeah there was like a 4 month delay before the second day was added in 2023. Day 1 sold out pretty quick this year, I would anticipate a second date.

Also a couple of new camping/parking options that are fairly cool, including a powered parking spot (with some sort of ac/voltage that allows you essentially car camp with power to all of your devices)

John // OC now, OH forever.

Turns out I'll be at a Cub Scout camping trip for the Armor/BNO show and won't even be in the country for the end of tour TGUK dates. This is unacceptable.

    hmmm

I'll see what else they fill it out with and decide whether to go later on. There are enough bands on the bill that I'd be interested in catching, although while Download has always had a wide-ranging selection in terms of sound and genre, it does seem like it's increasingly drifting from the metal aspect. Seeing Urne late afternoon on the Friday this year felt like a breath of fresh metallic air (not sure that part of the metaphor works) in a sewer of emo-y/pop metalcore bands.

Never seen Korn or Green Day live and would be interested in both. Sleep Token are complete hateable shit but there'll be something else on.

Edit: There obviously are metal and metal-adjacent bands on there but it feels like there are fewer now where the metallic element is the primary aspect of their sound.
