I've always wanted a cat.. maybe after my first baby leaves me. Even tho she grew up for the first few years of her life with one (roommates)

We're done with cats after Bebe. Ive been cleaning liter boxes since I was a kid and until they can learn to use the toilet, it'll be just dogs in our house.

  14. I feel like cleaning a litterbox once a day (or every other day even) is infinitely easier than taking a dog out several times a day lol

I much prefer opening my sliding door a few times than scooping shit, having to smell said shit and toss it outside in the garbage.

Wow. I bought a can of resolve foam pet expert upholstery and carpet spray and it's fucking magic.

There was a decent stain on my recliner where my cat always camps out... Sprayed it, waited 3 minutes, and that shit just wiped away effortlessly

This guy had his first vet appointment today, and not only was he extremely well behaved, but the vet (who has pet rabbits of her own!) was very happy with his health. And he’s getting neutered next week.

Claude got neutered on Wednesday. His recovery has been amazing so far - eating as much as always and also full of energy, which has been tricky because he’s not supposed to be running around or jumping. We kept him mostly confined to his pen on Thursday but let him have access to most of the apartment again yesterday; of course, we let him out of sight for a minute yesterday and he instantly jumps up onto the chair he never gets on, lol.

We call the pillow behind the “the mother” because it looks so much like him.

This little dude was on the list to be euthanized at our local animal shelter today. They’re very very understaffed and over population on dogs. He was allegedly “aggressive” and thus, was on the list unless a rescue stepped up to claim him and find a foster. My wife was pretty upset and felt he was probably just scared and anxious.

I was able to get in contact with a rescue that worked with us to get him tagged and arrange for us to foster him. He was suuuuuper pissed when we first got him from his kennel but from the moment he was loose in our yard he was having a great time! He’s getting along pretty well with our other 2 dogs for now too.

we’re calling him Kevin and we’re very glad that he didn’t die today
